hmm interesting thoughts. Again AMD is pushed in the underdog position. I dont think AMD well get on top of it. AMD does not make chipsets, 8.1 channel audio chips or videochips. (at least not to my knowlegde) For a media "PC" you do not need raw power. Just cool and quite powered system with all the options on a small board. I know the partners can make them. But compared this to Intel who can make all of this themselfs. What options does AMD have left then?

I hope they can pull something off. Intel might have already clearly dominately this part of the market but i hope AMD can expand its production capabilities into more than just great CPUs.
