love the panic, very usefull and I would like to see it incorporated in more games and other such things.

(Darwinia wasn't exclusive to steam, you can find it in the shops as well)
Looking forward to this, Introversion don't seem to be able to put out a crap game (or a normal one come to that, and that's definitely supposed to be a complement). Oh, and a game about nuclear war where

That's what I was going to say!

Anyway, this sounds awesome... I wonder how many of the Introvision staff are secretly playing while they are meant to be developing it

Darwinia originally was released on store shelves, but was a flop there; thats why Valve bought them and distributed it via steam; its a niche game, but is great fun, and would be a shame to let die because not enough people took notice.

uplink was highly addictive, and i dunno about you guys but i still love the classics like Detoit (why oh why hasnt sombody re-made this?). I'm looking forward to this.

Athough i obviously completely missed the boat with Darwinia as i've never heard of it, what the run down on it? time to install HL2 and steam again

uplink was nasty because it allowed you to play for days after you inadvertantly set a trace in moetion against you without any warning and once you were caught that was it. But very very fun because of it

MAD is mad!
Have kids play a round of Global Thermonuclear War and see what they learn. Violence doesn't win.

I'd really like to give the Darwinia demo a try, but it refuses to load for me (makes some odd noises and just shows a black screen, but it's in 3d mode as my FRAPS counter is going in the corner). And the steam forums are one big breeding pool of trolls and flamers, so it's hard to get any useful info out of there.

Wow, looks like the makings of another instant classic!

And to those people who have never heard of Darwinia, get the demo already! You won't regret it
