Airbrushed notebook heaven

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/02...rush_notebook/

I swear we're not on commission or anything. I just *floored* by the artistry and wanted to share it with you guys. Personally, I'd *love* to do a course to learn how to do this kind of thing. Instead, I'll have to add it to the growing list of modding techniques I *wish* I could do. But can't

Airbrushing takes skill, but these are just beyond belief, it's actually hard to believe that a human could do this to extreme detail in a relatively small area, he must have an extremely steady hand and a lot of patience!

But I'm happy with my caseskin, it costed a lot but was worth it, the texture and quality of the print is just amazing!

Perhaps you can contact him for an interview on his works and how he does it? (although he probably won't to reveal too much, it's worth a try)

I'd love to have that done... the work is incredible. But I'd probably opt for a caseskin instead, just because I'm cheap and I wouldn't even want to touch a laptop with a $400 paint job.

That's a point, how easily will the paint scratch? I would say, for a laptop, the paint will wear out pretty quickly. I'd rather have the job done on a computer which isn't going to be moved about so much.

Also, an ATX case can live forever by just swapping out the internals. A laptop is good as a primary rig for at most 2 or 3 years.....
