I think bit-tech needs to get their information right. These guys didn't work at blizzard. They worked for S2 Games, LLC.

Actually, I think someone else should get their facts right.

From the Red-5 website:
Quote:
Mark possesses over 14 years of development experience for major game entertainment companies, including Blizzard Entertainment, Naughty Dog, and Interplay. As Team Lead for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft game project, Mark was instrumental in building and leading the development team which created the massively successful MMO. He was a key figure in transforming Blizzard Entertainment from a box-based developer/publisher to a world-wide subscription-based online service with over 5.5 million subscribers. His past accomplishments during his seven years at Blizzard include producer roles on Diablo II, Starcraft, Starcraft: Broodwar and Starcraft 64 as well as leading strike teams for many of Blizzard's major releases.
Quote:
William has been creating computer game graphics for 14 years, most recently as a Director for Blizzard Entertainment. You can see his latest concept work up at Red5’s website. William played a key role as Art Director for World of Warcraft, and was pivotal in developing the game’s unique visual flair, environmental and world design.
Quote:
o-founded and led the online operations for Blizzard's Korean offices where he was responsible for launching and operating World of Warcraft throughout Asia. Taewon was a key contributor to the game's phenomenal success in Asia through his input on business models, game content, localization and UI. His work was critical to making World of Warcraft attractive to Asian players, helping make the game one of the only MMOs to truely succeed worldwide. Previously at Blizzard, Taewon helped Korean launch of Blizzard Entertainment's hit game Starcraft.
We don't mind criticism when we get things wrong, but you should know your $#!% before trying to call us out.

Your right i didn't have my $#!% right. I miss read the article completely. When yall were talking about the guys that left Blizzard you were talking about Red 5 not ProjectOffset. I've been a part of the ProjectOffset community for a year or so now and never heard that those guys were part of blizzard before hand, so i jumped the gun on this thread. I don't know anything about these Red 5 guys, but I do know that the three Main dudes at ProjectOffset (Sam McGrath, Travis Stringer and Trevor Stringer) were formerly of S2 games.
