Looks good, but what is up with this:

?

Is the doc the new Breen? Have the resistance finally gotten rule over the city, and have turned it into a prison for the combine? Or maybe, they're just trying to deliver secret, subliminal advertising to the populace in general in an effort to sell more soap...

I think we all know which one it is

Maybe the doc took over the propaganda screens. Whatever the reason, at least that's an indication that he is probably still alive. Whatever happened to my favourit character Barney?

4 - 6 hours

I want atleast 20hrs out of a single player FPS game regardless of whether its an expansion or not (but that aint gonna happen in the time theyve had)

Thats only one evening to finish it, saying that though I finished Quake 4 the day I got it, was bout 7 hours of gameplay and that was supposed to be a full game! (was only a tenner though I guess).

I will have to see what price Play.com are gonna flog this for, £10 odd is fair enough, any more and il pass on it.

Fibre: 20 hours and another 6 years? Or 4-6 hours every year? Yea, it's gonna be as frustrating as hell and over too quickly but it's only a year til part 2.

idc if it is only 4-6 hours long, ill definitly be pying the 20$, i think you guys are forgetting when you first played this game, remember the first crate you smashed, seeing all the different peice fall realistically, killing your first enemy, watching the awsome ragdoll take effect, all the hours playing with the grav. gun, ill pay 20$ for another 4-6 hours of that

I'd vote for the doc taking over the screens too.
I'd say if anyone was going to be safe, it would have been barney, after all - Dog was with him and we've all seen what dog does to the bad guys

I seem to recall a PC Gamer (UK) article a while back saying the focus of aftermath would be gordon and alyx organizing everyone to evacuate the city before the citadels main reactor annihalated it and through the waves of ant-lions descending on the city since the thumpers had all gone offline.

So, maybe the doc is at the citadel trying to prevent the reactor from going critical ?
