It's all well and good. We've been reading this in New Scientist and so forth for years. But in classic 'Tomorrow's World' styleee.... will it ever happen?
I'm sure it will, but not for a VERY long time. 10 years? dunno. More like 50. P.S. Doesn't IBM Cell Chip work in the same sort of 'many procs working together' type way and 'already' exists in the PS3?

TBH, its nothing new really. Think about where we were 10 years ago. Admittedly, I didn't use computers yet, but ive seen some relics from that era. Then, Giga- was like Tera- is now... just a possibility in the distant future. They had to overcome major obstacles, but they found a way. There's probably no limit to how much technology can do, the limit is in how much we're willing to spend to get there.
