finally theyve moved the layout of the chipset. that should help heavy overclocks as it will allow better coolers to be fitted

If they make only 1000 of them and call it a limeted edition and use the best parts they can find why don't they make a masterpiece of it. Some reel cool never seen feuteres on this board. Like golden(coated) heatsinks special paintjob. The board doens't look that different from other DFI boards.
But sold fore 450 dollar ok not for me!

It's not about how it looks, it's about how it clocks and performs mate.

Every few years or so the odd person is lucky enough to pay whatever for the most overclockable system - in that case £200/£300 for a motherboard is ok if it meets the demands.

Although I understand they want this to be limited - why can't they make the 'Venus' like say an 'XT PE' or something. I'm sure there's a market for it.

There is one here, just a review though, not actually put through its paces...

There isnt that much difference in teh boards, except the caps and the karajan audio module is soldered to the board.

I don't understand.... the only good thing this board has going for it is overclockability.... based on word of mouth, with no reviews..... and overclocks are not an gareenteed thing....

anyways... I'm shocked anyone would pay that much for a motherboard... I mean, in a few months new boards will pop up at lower costs and more performance....

anyways.. I've never liked the color on DFI board... the yellow and the NB heatsink is really ugly... ASUS all the way for me

bye bye

now it makes [a bit more] sense than it did on the 300 dollar motherboard, nice capacitors and highly tweak/ overclockable, ill go for that.
EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136008
YAY for not in stock at newegg!!

Boards like this are for show, not for performance...
