No matter how much spin people put on it I just lack the interest in Sony hardware to actually want one. However the idea of possibly region unlocked games is a nice idea though surely this means everyone has to stick to one standard (PAL/NTSC) if they are to release unless they can include both on one Disc?

well it dosent call it a new invention, mearly "latest hdmi" there are likely to be revsions to the standard as the drm standards become more clear. This is worth mentioning because its an important feature on many new lcd tvs and some would say its missing from the xbox 360.

Anybody knows if the PS3 will finally support mouse and keyboard?
I've red that the Xbox360 won't, and kind of remember reading that the PS3 will... If it finally does, I'd be willing to forget about PC gaming once and for all...or at least, I could forget about FPSs and live without a yearly graphics upgrade... Tha's my dream...a powerful console to play games, and a budget PC for everything else and some Rome TW or Baldur's Gate and the likes from time to time... |

Dual HD Display Support 32:9 gaming, one word WOW.
PS3 comes with dual HDMI output, which means you'll most likely be able to get some sort of 1st or 3rd party HDMI to DVI D convertor cables, which means I may be able to hook up 2x1600 res 20inch LCD Displays for some serious next generation 32:9 gaming. I currently own 1 Acer Ferrari F20 Display, if proven that I can hook up a PS3 via some sort of HDMI to DVI D connector than I'm gonna buy a second Ferrari F20 display and ditch the PC Gaming once and for all. |
