i honestly cant find of a pc gamer who thinks Halo is good.

I think halo is good and I'm a hardcore gamer, I also must say the console version was better than the pc version but that could of just been a bad porting on the developer side.

I heard in game informer, that for what ever reason the next one won't be called halo 3 or it wiill be a deliniation from the plotline and won't pick up where 2 left off.

How can it not take of from 2, it was left at such a cliff hanger. Unless this means their'll be more, thought they'd finish it on three..

I prefer the XBOX version of Halo, seems like the game is designed for the console, unlike Black.

That's because HALO is a console fps, and console fps's are crap on pc.

I'm a PC gamer, I love Halo on xbox. The difference in quality between halo2 and a lot of fps games is substantial to say the least- it's certainly one of the most polished games out there (at least in terms of gameplay, the story in the campaign was a bit poo)...of course, the game's incomparable to Half-Life 2

Hey, im a really competative gamer, and a huge pc enthusaist, mostly pc, but i play alot of cs:s and halo 2, ALOT, ive been to alot of lans, alot of halo 2 tourny's, and i think its a great game. Especuialy when my team rox! :P

I can't wait for Halo 3. Playing Halo 2 in co-op mode with my brother was some of the best gaming I've ever had. Judging by Halo 1 and 2 Bungie will definitely not disappoint (the movie, however, may be another story

). That said, I'm really waiting for Gears of War for 360, Gran Tourismo 4 for PSP (where the hell is it?!?), and both the next "episode" of Half Life 2 and Crysis for PC (hopefully I'll have the hardware to run it when it comes out). I'm also excited about seeing what will be out for the PS3 launch. Word is the dev kit is impossible to use and so game develoment is moving along at a snail's pace, possibly delaying launch titles. In any case, it seems to me that the amount of good games coming out for consoles FAR surpass the number of good games coming out for PC (at least from the games I've heard of), which is sad considering how much I've invested in my desktop to be able to play the latest games. Thankfully I still love playing BF2 which has made the investment worth it to me.

Next generation leap in gaming, UT2K7, surely should be most anticipated game since half life 2. I just hope they release it on linux... like the old one!

Halo 1 and 2 are awesome. Aint got around to restarting the single player campaign on legendary, since upgrading to xbox 360. But will do so soon. Halo 3 will be the best game out when it hits, i'm sure of that. The multiplayer mode is too good for it not to be (bring back pistols with zoom!!)
