Just downloaded and played some of the demo.
It improves on some things, the controls arn't bad and the graphics are at least half descent, there are some nice touches; such as the way her skin is wet when you come out of water of the way her boobs jiggle when you jump.
Some things are pretty standard though, the frankly second rate combat system for one, which is pretty much what you got in Tomb Raider. The cheesy cutscenes (thank God you can skip them) and quite low polygon count let it down somewhat, however, the pretty great texturing and water collision effects are good.
If you loved the origional Tomb Raiders then this is a better game than Angel of Darkness.

I was kinda nnoyed when it decided to suddenly goto about 10 polys

Black screen with the overlay of weapons and so on fine, but the back just a few polys coming from the centre with a few colours

I know it's a demo, but there's a serious problem with it. Randomly totally locks up my PC, a hard reset being the only cure. First time on the first guard, second time on the second grappling disc. Drivers are up to date as far as I know (well, been playing Eve Online constantly over the weekend with no bother).

For tomb raider these graphics are AMAZING...I am NOT EASY to impress...Oblivion, HL2 those are of course the pinnacle of graphic gaming...but I tell you that on my 7800gt this game is really very impressive>>>>NOW EXCLUSIVE TO BIT-TECH I am here to say that I have the full version (arrrr just call me Jack Sparrow) of the game and THERE IS A OPTION TO TURN NEXT GEN ON!!!! this activates ALL the XBOX 360 features....it then becomes a simply beautiful game there are no words to describe it....I am talkin Oblivion level looks...not quite the detail obiviously...but I promise you its not to be missed.

*Edit: please don't encourage Piracy (Yaaaargh!)*

Caution: Watch for falling framerates !!!
