Its up on the Dell UK site now, maxxed out, comes to about 2100.

The only difference i can see between the 2 laptops, is that there is an option for a Audigy 2 internal sound card on the US model, which i didnt know there was one.

Theres also a review of it on Annandtech now...looking at the 7900go specs, the clock speeds have taken quite a hit compared to the desktop model..down from 650/1600 to 500/1200...ouch.

I'd rather spend the money on a beefy desktop for less money and more options.

If I had the cash to blow though, I'd condiser it... especially if I lanned a lot or participated in copetitions.

Uh... no!

Did you not see the front page article for the dual-SLI Notebook recently?

There are tons of more powerful notebooks. They're just not made by mainstream manufacturers.
