I personally think racing games are the most incredibly boring way to show off a new system. I imagine it will look like Ridge Racer, but crisper and shinier! What progression. I guess that's what people want though.

Urm i disagree, racing games are surely a good way to show off the graphics of a new system. Theres alot of landcaping and scenery to process along with the cars, track and audience in the stands + how it looks at high speeds, always been a bit of a problem with alot of racing games, even at 200mph+ still seems slow (apart from nfs underground).
Ridge Racer aint ever been a fave of mine, but will be interesting to see.

I'm just hoping they improve the actual gameplay of Ridge, it never compared to GT.
