Are we ever going to see boards that support both CF and SLI? maybe SiS with Chrome?

It realy sucks that we either have to be totaly Nvidia or totaly ATI.

Am I correct in assuming the onlything holding these boards back is that the drivers do not allow it?

*edit* sorry, post is off topic....kinda. having these cards as an option for me would require that I can make them work in CF.... but I have an Nvidia based SLI mobo.

The articles have oonly mentioned the 256mb version, but will the release of the x1900gt likely drop thir prices as well?

Blimey, £170 for a 1800XT is a good £50 cheaper than a typical 7900GT!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ok people, this is just adding to the list of suffixes that both nVidia and ATi share, making the consumer even MORE confused...

Where will GT fit in?

XTX>XT>GT?

What about GTO?

Tulatin will become famous soon enough
GTOs are usually below the GTs. As it stood with the X800s, we had

XTPE, XT, Pro, Vanialla, XL, GT,GTO...

I agree with themuffin.
These suffixes are becoming annoying/confusing. Cant they just have a different model number so all the X1900 series became X190x where the last x is a number 1 being the worst card they do?

persoanlly i prefer NVIDIA's numbering system

ATI's seems much more complicated

i picked up a x1900XT so im happy now (my old 6800GT died, still on RMA - could takes 6-8 weeks )

Anyway, i didnt see the point in the x1800, the x1900 is better and generally MFR's only have 1 high end card

ATI just brought out the x1900 so fast after the x1800 its no wonder
