All the above some to mind. Warcraft is rubbish enough as it is, I wish they wouldn't plague us with more of it *sigh*
Im guessing it will most likley also end up being a semi-rip of LOTR or similar as Bliz always likes to spoof/rip other games/movies etc.

if they can pull it off, crossing PC and the movie, it would be quite impressive. But if the ruin it it could end up ruining the game. I dont think it should be a movie quite just yet.

well the script is the most important thing here considering the source material is good (they stole from the best remember) but Live action? Should've been CG...

Ugh. Does Hollywood even pay attention to its own numbers? Movies based on video games inevitably fail.

Fantasy worked for LotR because Tolkien was a genius. Warcraft is fun to play occasionally, but I'm betting that the movie will be horrid.

Take it easy, he's not insulting you. I think games and movies should stay seperate, it's much easier to mess it up than to get it right.

I don't think game-to-movie has to neccessarily be a disaster, I do think that movies are the telling of a story and 90%+ of games are extremely weak in that category.

I sob for the farcry action/comedy flick that could have been, had that license gone to a competant director instead of uwe boll

I have no ideea what will happen to this movie....It could be a great one....but in the same time it could be a total disaster. The fact is that Warcraft has very many good sources of fantasy action. The only possible problem would be that the acting\actors will not be so good. I can only hope that the movie will end up in good hands and be a hit.

Iv a fan of world of warcraft, i even stayed up until 5am in the morning when the game first went live in europe...it was awesome.

Now i know games to movies usually fail but world of warcraft has one hellava detailed storyline in it thats spanned throughout their games. It has incredible depth and could rival Lord of the rings in its story. I wouldnt right it off, theirs huge potential there.
