Woohoo! all stuff I'll find useful! Couldn't understand the lack of background downloads, though I suspect it may be because they don't want to field the support calls....

Patch tuesday for Xbox 360... oh goodie.

I never use DVD bookmarks myself, but I'm sure plenty do. Background downloading seems like it should have always been present, but hopefully it'll have some sort of QoS thing so it doesn't break actual gaming.

Microsoft have stated that all downloads will pause when you enter any multiplayer game. Don't want all those download addicts ruining a game for you.
You can also turn the 360 off and downloads will resume once it's turned back on.

Now all we need are *more* Live arcade games...

It's about time! I was just telling a friend of mine how cool it would be is MS allowed us to play games/do other things while a download is ongoing.

hmmm wonder if the new updates to the DVD has anything to do with the cracked firmware...

Whether or not they address that remains to be seen, but we know this update has been in the works since before the security issues went public.

I wouldn't mind some kind of file explorer. Transfering pics for wallpaper one by one from a USB pen is tedious
