couple of months - i doubt they will release DX10 cards any time soon, vista isnt even supposed to come out until after january - so why would you release DX10 cards so soon, considering DX10 is only vista ....
I wonder what ATI is doing to pip nvidia to the post on this 1, their crossfire technology seems to have been a slump ... |

WooT! I was right, that IS a consumer quad SLI card
![]() I think they've learned their lesson on this and are going to get the drivers right this time. I certainly hope so, anyway. As much as we all tought quad GPUs were just a gimmick, it seems to me that if Nvidia can make this work they could end up going mainstream (well, as mainstream as multiple GPUs will ever be). I know I want one (or 4).

i have to say (after thinking about it some more) nvidia have done an excellent job, and really improved the cards now, much more efficient (and cheaper) design, and using up less power then a x1900 (and quieter)

I'd rather they took their time and got the drivers for Quad right, rather than the horror that was the first try...
![]() That said, SLI had quite a lot of trouble early on. It was a nightmare to get working with widescreen through a DVI hookup... would mess the display up something awful.
