why dual x1600 ?? ... would have expected them to go for dual x1900's first, i guess the x1900's use too much power, and pump out too much heat, needing some more design work doing .....

i dont know why people keep refering to the 7950 GX2 as a dual processor single card. its clearly two cards bridged together just like SLI. so its not really a single card solution, its a dual card single slot. it costs more then two 7900GT's and its clock speeds are slower. so unless you have the money to buy two 7950's it just doesnt seem worth it. only pluss side i see is that it could possible spare a slot or two for the PCI slots. but who uses those for anything anymore anyway. especialy in a gaming situation.

to Drexial: the 7950 GX2 outperforms 2 7900GT's OC in SLI.here

as for the dual x1600XT, i will wait until someone benchmarks this. but i think it will rock, imagine 2 of these in crossfire

the x1900 is very power hungry as bit-tech's own testing has shown. It would be a great challenge to provide cooling and power for two of them on a single board.

Well, it was about time that ATI released a dual gpu solution. The benchmarks will prove if it has any power whatsoever over nVidia on this semgent or not. Even though this is the first implementation of the ATI chipset, I hope it will do a good job. Alltough I'm an nVidia fanboy, I hope ATI will do something good.

We shall wait and see
