Another new service from Google totally irrelevant to anything to do with searching. Next we'll be seeing them selling groceries, and manufacturing cars!

So? They never said they were going to be search-engine specific. Admittedly I don't use anything other than search/mail but Maps is highly useful and if Checkout will save me a bit o' green in certain situations then it can't really be a bad thing.

Google undercuts paypal dramatically

Hi Brett,

Nice article. I felt it was worth registering to point out a simple little error with the numbers in the article. Yes, PayPal will give you 1.9% and .30 in fees, but only if you make $100,000 in a month. Otherwise, you're giving PayPal 2.2 - 2.9%

lawl, sounds like a plan, although would only be an advantage on smaller transactions, though i bet eBay is full of them

Well, thanks for pointing that out! I will do research and offer a bit of an errata on it then with my findings.
