Seems like the spellcheck is not working for me or just cant find it , otherwise no big difference for me.

[edit] I really like that you can restore closed tabs. Really usefull for clumsy people like me!

Right click in a textarea, it should say "Spell check this field" at the top, with Languages just below it. I had to add UK English manually, but it seems to work. The word textarea has been underlined red.

Most of the changes bar the spell checking and phishing tool i have through extensions already so it won't be much of a big change

Does that mean people actually use tabs? I really dont get on with them as you cant alt-tab them or alt+f4 them (I really dont like using the mouse to click tabs and close windows, I use key shortcuts for nearly everything)
Im sure there is key shortcuts but I really don't want to use/learn new ones unless I really have to.
I guess I will just stick to having 3-4 instances

Close buttons for each tab, rather than being on the top right corner of the window, under the address bar.
I relly hate that, it's the only reason I stoppe dusing Opera. Reason being, i can quickly close tabs without having ot move my mouse each time. I can still close each tab in one click if it's not selected by middle-clicking on it.

I have opera and firefox, and i can honestly say, the only reason i don't switch to opera is those buttons... I really hope they have an option on ff2 to have the close button where is should be.

You're insane. Ctrl+tab and Ctrl+F4 you silly boy. Ctrl+W for the latter will suffice too, and makes it a bit easier to switch between OSX and Windows if you're doing a bit of both as I am.

So... what's slated for Fx 3.0? Thought-sensitive web browsing? /me dons tinfoil hat.

spell checking function which appears in text areas
Very useful, seeing as the Spellcheck plugin I used to use isn't compatible with newer versions of FF.

Hmm, not really needed imo - clicking the middle mouse button on a tab will close it...

Will d/l this when I get home and have a look.

You can put the close button back where it used to be through a about:config value afaik.

To close a tab 'ctrl+w'

To move between tabs 'shift+tab'

This is found within the firefox help section in the actual browser or press F1.

Thanks,

Monkeybone

This has got up my arse.

Installed FF2 Beta as someone said it wouldn't mess with my original 1.5 extensions, but it has, completely disabled them!
