if its cheap (and I mean REALLY cheap) with a decent res yes I would pay to watch it maybe once or twice.
But I suspect that they would charge about 4 quid (the same as most rental shops) and get 2 days to watch it within.

They will need to consider the fact that you can pick up older films on DVD online and on eBay for practically nothing now too - I got a sealed new copy of 'A few good men' the other day for just £1.50. I also get the privilege of being able to keep that. With DVD prices from the likes of play and cd-wow, these rentals are going to have to be super cheap for people to justify it.

unless they provide it outside of itunes and non drmed and really cheap then no chance will i get it. itunes sucks and until apple changes that i will be steering clear of apples music and videos
