Am I right in thinking this may suffer FSB saturation, as it'll have two processors on the old FSB, without the extra clever memory management stuff? Or is that part of the chip?

And please get a new image: how many more times to we have to see Intel girl?

Come on K8L! I'd like to say AMD better have somthing spectacular up their sleve or it's going to be a pretty unpleasent year, but I think in reality they'll do fine no matter what. Lets face it, the big money isn't in the enthuiest market.

the boys over at xtreme systems got an engineering sample, and it looks impressive, but i agree, are there going to be big fsb limits? Quad core i think is a little over rated right now, as there isnt much out side of the server world that is multi threaded to that extent.
I do however think that quad core is a much better idea than amd's 4x4 system. 4x4 sounds like a shunttrap gimick rather than an inovation. and lets face it i really dont want to hav to buy two different chips, heat sinks, and fans when i could buy 1 kentsfield.

does the ABIT AB9 Pro Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard support kentsfield?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813127004

since i have just read that article.. i have another question: so any core 2 duo board can use kentsfield?

tim s.... if you wanted to buy a video editing/ tv watching pc with heavy work on the processor what processor and mobo should i get right now?

im tired of waiting for the next new thing and im in need of a newer computer.
I have a 3000 athlon xp socket A processor and mobo and of course intergrated graphics... what shall i do?

would you really wait for kentsfield or get core 2 duo or amd ? ( i need an answer because i would like to buy a computer this week and wondering what would be the best giving me upgrades in the future and what motherboard would it be)
