I haven't even gotten around to playing the demo, unfortunatly. It's on my list. Of course, so are a heck of a lot of other things.

Its a good idea....
No-one has been able to answer the following question yet, will people with the full game be able to play alongside those with the free version. Or do we have to download the free version aswell?

Hopefully the trend will grow...

This is the sort of thing I can see catching on once in game advertising goes into full effect. The advertising space should easily pay for the work that goes in to modifying the retail version into the "free" version, aswel as go towards funding future titles.

Is Extraction Point the EA sequal? I thought Monolith owned the rights to everything but the "FEAR" title.

Well I registered... No email with any key or whatever. But, a free FPS multiplayer is a free FPS multiplayer, I wil be playing this for sure (if I get it working). Even if it's rubbish, it only costs you a little bandwidth.
