Bah, I just bought Psychonauts. Oh well, platformers are better on consoles anyway.

Still havn't played it though, since theres no backwards compatablility for it yet and my xbox is packed away ready for moving back to uni.

Psychonauts has to be the most overrated game that everyone screams about being underrated.

Damnit! Too many games, not enough time...
I've still not got round to properly playing through Darwinia...and then there's Armadillo Run; still need to purchase the full game.
Add to that all the DS games I still need to play (Star Fox, Mario Hoops, Mech Assault etc).

It does, I'll have to test it out for myself to see if it's good or not. From reading the stuff in the manual the concept seems like alot of fun.

I remember seeing the video for this game on the Halo disk, so it's development has been from like alsmost the begining of the xbox to almost it's end, so it should be good

Although I heard that the publisher dropped it and another one picked it back up after a while.

Exactly the same here, they should really space all these cool releases out over the year instead of killing our wallets by bringing them out all at the same time.

I really need to get my hands on a DS with Phoenix Wright AA.

You guys haven't started uni yet? You suck. I've been here for something like three weeks already.

Anyways... I love the whole Steam model of game releases, since I don't need to worry about CDs and whatnot, so I'm always happy to see another title get added to the ranks.

Apparently Bloorayne 1 for $10, Bloodrayne 2 for $20, advent rising also just on for $20, no sign of psychonauts right now for me. All of those are in pre-order so you get 10% off if you order before they come out.

Most notable to me, is that DefCon is in pre-order now with a third off if you order early ($9.95 instead of $14.95 .. though there is an slightly odd "+ tax" lingering right below it ..)

i would always hold up steam as proof your don't like need DRM to protect your content, and steam is a superb platform

and you can download your games at any time with it too, if valve just made it nicer, and more efficient i think it would really hit off

as far as steam being freed of piracy a bit more. it could be because what they release is generaly good. when you put somthing worthwile out (im ignoring ragdoll kungfu) people will buy it.

Nope we go back at the very end of september, I'm actually moving up early to get settled in again. Although I'm back doing the first year since I've done a change of course.
