hmm it is tempting but dont you need a master card if it hasnt got an ati chipset? they are pretty hard to get now

Hey? What do you mean? Even ATI chipsets need master cards for crossfire. Masters are easily available at the same place you find ATI cards. It is true however that only the X1900 master card is being sold at the moment. For all other ATI gpus' in the X1K series aprt from the old flagship X1800XT you can have crssofire with two identical gpu's without the need of a master card. This will work on Intel and ATI chipsets if they are crossfire ready regardless of who made it.

As the P965 is more stable, overclcokable ,reliable and better performing than x975 boards ( no bs, it is defintley better). The only reason to buy the x975 was for the the multi gpu setup and higher fsb. The fsb is now the same as x975 and it now has crossfire (hopefully dual x16). Can't wait.

Please confirm for me however if it really is dual x16 pci express, as I have a feeling that it isn't, as it would require an extra chip or much extra transistors on the intel chipset.

According to VR-Zone, ATI is about to launch Crossfire compatability on all 965 motherboards:

Any Intel 965 boards with two x16 slots will be able to support Crossfire using the new Catalyst drivers.

Can someone from you answer to me , where is the chip for bios on this board?
is it integred or...I would like to see the pic or something....
