Still prefer these. I know they are only for water cooling rigs but they work very well and look the part when you have a few of them stacked up and filled with drives.

Yeah - looking at the image on the link it looks really ugly & out of place on that case.

I guess it would suit a custom build quite well with exposed internal parts.

Im still using a pair of SilentMAXX enclosure I purchased wayyyy back in 2004.

http://www.silentmaxx.de/produkte/si...-silencer.html

Back in the day these were the best way to keep the 36GB/74GB Raptors seek noise down!

Have to agree with that. it would probably look good hanging out the front of some thing like the HAF.

Looks space ageish- reckon it might look quite good with an SSD mounted to it (and yes I know SSDs dont produce much heat, just for the awesome looks )

My discs are all cold to the touch. In fact I don't remember a drive even getting warm let alone hot in 18 years of geekery. Maybe I'm lucky... It would be nice to silence the little buggers though, without unwittingly insulating them and raising the temps. Do these products do that?

Are these hard-disks are only made for general PCs (Limited Size) or they are also available for Servers with larger storage capacities, Server cooling is always a challenge for them who maintain it.
