help whit new card.

Which of this cards is best value for the money for games like TF2, Battlefield Heroes when they release it and COD4 and maybe some RTS game. And it will be used for watching movies (hdmi).

From cheaper to more expensive -->

Sapphire HD3850 ultimate.
Club 3D HD3850 Overclocked Edition.
Club 3D HD3870 Overclocked Edition.

as always, before we can answer this question we need to know the resolution of your screen.

By HDMI, do you mean 1080p?

you might wanna edit the list too, i think something went wrong

Obviously, the 3870 is the best card - but more expensive. However, its probably best to list the prices as well. As there's no point in getting the 3850 is its only £5 cheaper than the 3870. Its its £30 - that's a different matter.

Have you considered a NVidia 8800GT - I can find them cheaper than the 3870 & they are loads better.

the 3850 seems acceptable for that, the 3870 is more future-proof.

the 8800GT is a better choice if you don't mind nVidea cards

Don't limit yourself to just cards with an HDMI port. A DVI-HDMI converter is around $5, and all the current-generation cards can even pass the audio signal through one of these. Most also come with one adapter, so even if the card doesn't physically have the port, you can get connected right away.

At that resolution, the HD3850 would probably be sufficient for most games, but a 9600gt would give you a bit more performance for around the same price.
