can i hook up an X-Fi XtremeGamer to my old Audigy 2 front panel?

can i hook up an X-Fi XtremeGamer to my old Audigy 2 front panel? my google-fu produced results that were less than satisfactory (but that could just be me).

Does the pinouts match the floppy cable holes?

I think it will work, i used a old live drive with my Audigy.

Check out the DriverHeaven's Audio General and Technical Discussion, where they have various threads discussing the pin-outs of all the Creative PCI Sound Cards.

I do know the AD_EXT audigy 2 pin-out and the X-FI pin-out are similar I think it works in theory (don't know if anyone there tried for sure): If you do get round to give it a try, let us know!

Also, check out this thread there: X-FI AD_EXT pin assignment, anyone? Some people there claim they were successful...
