Would like 200 off another MATRIX 285 myself :P

I too would like next week's guidelines, as I didn't cover the actual competition side of the event thinking that might come up, and would like the chance to add that blog on if it isn't.

Don't worry guys - we're on the case. We're currently reading through the second week's blogs, and we're just sorting out the posting guidelines for the third week of blogs. You'll get the next update soon.

I'd rather have a 5850 video card. That's almost £200 lol

I don't know what I'd want tbh... I cba replacing my 8800GTX with something (it plays current games just fine for me at 1680x1050) and faffing on with a new waterblock... I don't really need a new monitor... a laptop/netbook might come in handy though, not that i have or need one.

Well I'm not that bothered as I expect it'll be something nice. I'm still working on the weekly blogs but, to be honest, I'm finding it all quite boring. I feel like I'm just writing for the sake of fulfilling my weekly quota as I'm getting absolutely no feedback from anybody regarding my posts. What is actually the whole point of this as from what I can see the ASUS blog website is terribly messy which makes it hard to find our posts.

Dotn suppose we can have some clarification, as the first week we were doing the blogs from the monday the second week we had the results on tuesday so started on a wednesday now looks like were getting them today and starting them tommorow,

So my question/sugestion is this, please when setting the weeks topic can you post the day it needs to be uploaded on, Also I am away this weekend at the I-Series so its going to be hard finding time between all that gaming to write some blogs, especially now as it seems we are going to have to get it finished on the weekend unless you move the date you grade them to give us a propper week to do them in,

Sorry about the moaning I just like to have no surprises

Having issues posting again, is there something wrong with the site?

VK, I only just managed to get up the final part of my Matrix GTX285 review now. Sorry it is late, but I have had a lot of uni work to do. Plus, I wanted to put a lot of effort in to it, so didn't want it to be half complete to get within the deadline.

I hope it won't be a problem.

Lol I give in. This lack of communication and keeping to time guide lines has gotten rather bad to be fair. It was similar in the original comp, the first week was fine then the rest was dragged and dragged until week 4 only had 2 days worth of entrants and it was closed with the expectation of those who won to attend just 2 days later. Luckily everyone managed to attend but thats beside the point really.

This has been running 5 weeks for 3 weeks worth of blogs, Im confused as to how that works?

^this

My personal gripe with this has been the very last minute posting of the week guidelines. When the competition was first announced we were told that we had to post twice a week for 4 weeks with one of the posts about the event or the hardware. Now we are finding that we have to wait until we are told what we have to write about, and only given a week to do so. The event was three months ago and we're only on week three of the posting. It's not surprising that so many people have just given up.

I'm not out to make the organizers angry here. I'm still taking part in the competition and I'm still posting my blogs each week (even though I was a few hours late this week due to illness).
