My 360 went rrod with about 6 months left on the extended warranty of three years. I went through the admittedly well-organised warranty process and received a replacement 360. However, I my original hard drive then decided to stop functioning as well!

I'm never buying a microsoft console again.

People are lucky MS even offered extended warranties.

They were forced into doing so because a group of pissed-off consumers launched a class action against them.

Got mine the week they came out. Had to get one with a wired pad, no hard drive etc. Still going strong though.

like someone said unless it happens to your 360 you tend to be oblivious to the failure rate

lasted 3.5 years

such a kick in the baw bag that it took my modern warfare2 with it..

now i have 30 games on the 360 and probably 4 months left of XBL subscription

ps3?

what should i do people!

i dont want to buy one then have it break on me again. although MS do fix them if its within warranty?

The new on RROD less from what I've heard, I have a PS3 but haven't had much reason to turn it on lately. Thinking about selling it.
