Quick reply needed - Firewire using Audigy win xp
trying to share resources with a friend of mine-both have Win Xp pc's and both have audigys-we installed "firenet" on both pcs(software from audigy disc) and have a basic firewire cable, but when we plug it in nothing happens-the little lan icon(two monitors) are still crossed out-only thing tht happens is when we unplug the cable-and it says "cable unplugged"
we can get the two computers to recognize each other somewhat (when you do a search you can see the other comp on the network but it asks you for a password = ???), but we still cannot browse each other's comps - how do we do this?? |

it does support it. (firewire is a bit older than usb2) it also has native support for firewire networking. this means the firewire port on my audigy shows up as a 400mb connection without any extra software.
