Did you have problems?
in issue 78 i dont know what OS u were using but did u have any problems with the OS when you upgraded the motherboard,cpu...
as i am thinking of upgrading and 2 oldish pc's but am worried if i do then the os might throw a wobbly can you help me on this matter as i am very confused and any help would be greatly appreciated |

Hi,
Not sure what your asking here.... Are you wondering if you need to upgrade / re-install the OS when putting new parts in? As a rule of thumb a new motherboard and cpu install normally means a fresh install of the OS. I personally would not use an existing OS on a new build because it would probably cause lots of conflicts. It would also hamper your fault finding if a new part throws a wobbler. |

I've just upgraded from a Q6600(3.4ghz 4gb) on an Asus P5E(flashed to a formula maximus) to an i7 920(4ghz 6gb)on an Asus p6t-se running windows 7 oem 64 with not a problem, updated itself and rebooted perfect. Bloody amazed me !

I've been using Windows 7 since the 7000 beta, and you never have to touch a driver disk anymore, its rather fantastic.
