AllNight has yet to learn the way of the Dremel
Well let's see.

955 + board vs. i5 750 + board. 2nd option is like 60 euro more expensive.
5850 vs. 5870, 80 euro.

20 euro more if I take the weaker processor with the stronger graphics.

I'm leaning towards the 955 since the i5 doesn't seem to be worth the 60 euro+ cost.

Go for the 955 & 5870 then, it will perform better in games & you can get Crossfire-capable AM3 boards cheaper than Crossfire-capable P55 boards.

I'd go for the Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H http://www.databyte.nl/GA-890GPA-UD3H
It's one of the cheaper boards that support 8x/8x crossfire & it's a great board.

As for the 5870 i'd suggest going with this one: http://www.databyte.nl/GA-890GPA-UD3H

SLI 5850's? First of all you're wrong in the fact that you can't put 5850s in SLI as that's Nvidia technology, 5850's use Crossfire instead. Also it's kind of irrelevant as 2 5850's won't fit hit budget.

Maybe it would help if you suggested a way he could fit them into his budget or why they might be worth the extra price rather than making an unhelpful & kind-of-irrelevant statement.
