Well... even if they are not hosting the site and were only the registrars for the domain name, it worked. GoDaddy are known for taking away domain names from users that get DMCA complaints and in this case they've parked the offending domain. Try visiting cracktwo.com and you'll be redirected to a GoDaddy parked page. So site one is gone and it only took a few hours...

The second one should be just as simple to do... just contact the domain registrar:
Dynadot.com

Or the hosting provider
LIMESTONENETWORKS.COM

They will comply just as quickly as GoDaddy did.

Go Daddy whacked the site before I had a chance to get the exact info. The content is still out there in Googleland somewhere.

Did both. It doesn't look I'm going to get the same service as Go Daddy. They tell me 48 hours for response.

Thanks for all the help guys! Hopefullyl no one else will have to go through this.

Hack-a-Day knows me too. They did a write-up on my PSU-PC a while back. It is disappointing and I'm trying not to be bitter about it. I build my stuff on a tight budget and watching people make money off my work like this is very demoralizing.

They fixed it earlier today. Hard to believe they couldn't figure out it was a pirated photo site. No title, no author, no text and plenty of NSFW advertising. I like the Hack-a-Day readers and it sucks I lost so much of their traffic.

The scam continues. I have Google Alerts on all my project titles but if they don't publish any text then it flies under the radar. They leave it up to stupid and/or lazy bloggers to bring them traffic. The worst thing is the sick, twisted ads posted next to my work including something that looked like child porn.

Man, that truly is terrible. Especially considering that your work is easily recognized as 'your' work. I've got google alerts set up as well, but as you mention, when there is no text, it's a little hard to track.

The first thing I've learned some 15 years back in time when I started to work as a graphics-designer is to watermark your pictures.

Sad but true... there's no other way around it
