2 systemsoff 1 psu?? possible??

Hey guys, for an upcoming mod i have in the planning phase, i wanted to know, is it possible for me to run 2 systems off 1 psu??
they are both mini-itx boards, one with a 760 and the other with a going to be overclocked i7 2600k sandy bridge. if i split the atx 24-pins, and routed them to a different system, would it still work or would the combined amperege pulldown kill the psu? i already have a plan for doingthe power good signals so dont worry about that! any help would be nice. i am planning on using a 1200 watt cooler master silent pro gold single rail. thanks in advance.

i actually was reading the reviews for this psu, and its not the best. so i was wondering, are there any other good ones out there that are single rail?? im leaning towards the corsair ax1200or the enermax revolution 1020w. oh and i probably will have a 5870 on the sandy bridge one.

it's possible but you'll need a splitter for the 24 pin. Which will probably mean making one. whether it'll will still work is any ones guess. I would go for 2 smaller PSU's 500w and put a jumper lead in to fire both rigs off one switch.

Why wouldn't it? As long as the PSU is powerful enough you could have a 10000 comps running off it but they will only every be on at the same time.

It may be nothing but I would be a bit concerned with the power/on switch wire to the PSU with two mother boards. I would probably just send it to one of the boards and just use that one to turn both of them on.
