Help With Timed Relay
Hi guys. I’m trying to design a circuit that will activate a relay for 1-2 seconds. The relay must first be activated when I release the button not when I push the button. I’ve been trying with some capacitors and diodes, but can’t seem to get it right. Either way I’m stuck at the moment.
It's for 12V DC. All help is appreciated.

I would use a logic circuit with gates or a latch or some sort, which then feeds a 555 timer circuit.
Trying to find something....
