I've managed to wear a hole in my caligae meaning every time I go out in the rain my feet are swiftly soaked. My tunic is new and authentic woolen weave as would have been around the 1st century for a roman legionnaire and its itchy as hell, feels like I'm wearing a cheese grater. I guess all the historians arguing over whether romans wore linen under-tunics can stop now. So aside from my work uniform being rather uncomfortable until I find some new fabric and leather to make new parts I'm great haha

All this waiting. Waiting for Scan to reply, waiting for the days to roll by, waiting, waiting, waiting.

Worse part is that I can't even do much useful with my time. I had the only functioning copy of Microsoft office in the whole damn house, so I can't get on with my college work during the weekend without my machine.

Scan should be open on weekends. ePetition is required.

I thought that linen armor was already proven historical? I know they proved it was kind of like natural Kevlar. Thought I remembered seeing that last week on my daily history readings...

Mind you that's four different pairs, so only three of them get worn twice before washing, sometimes less if I wear slacks or shorts that week.

I'm talking about under tunics, loads of historians argue that romans wore their woolen tunics next to the skin, i say thats bull because humans arent any "tougher" back then than they are now, if that stuff itches theyll find a way to stop it, under tunics all the way

I needed a filling recently. Issues with wisdoms mean on of my teeth at the back had some damage and a crack needed filling. To get rid of the decay he obviously needed to drill. And did so. Without anaesthetic.....

How many of you are cringing right now?

This. I can't understand people that put off medical treatment. Look, it's only going to get worse, and eventually societal pressures/sepsis/inability to eat are going to force you to go the dentist. It's not pleasant but leaving it is only going to make it even more unpleasant. Just get it over with.
