planem997 has yet to learn the way of the Dremel
folding on the GeForce GTX 680

Has anyone folded on the new GTX 680, if so, what sort of PPD is it doing, temped to get one :P

I couldn't get mine to work.

Maybe I need to use the new V7 client but I don't like it.


It won't fold under the GPU3 client though.

how odd, i might give it a month then, before i think about buying it, hopefully they will have a working client for it. anyways need aprils pay check to buy it anyways

I read over on overclockers:

You have to use the v7 Client and you need to add the command:
"client-type:beta" to the gpu slot

Yes that works and my 680 can fold however it is dog slow so will wait until they get their app re-written to take advantage of the extra grunt the 680 has.

How many PPD are you getting?

I read somewhere that the 6xx cards have been tweaked to be better for gaming at the expense of GPGPU ability compared to the 5xx series cards.
