Skellig has yet to learn the way of the Dremel
Why is Scan ignoring my emails?

I've sent a motherboard back over 35 days ago. Confirmed faulty. Scan sent it back to manufacturer. Was informed that replacement/repair may take up to 28 days. Obviously has been much longer than that so requested a refund. Now I'm being completely ignored.

An email I've sent on the 25th of April concerning RMA and refund has not been replied to. After consistently prompt and helpful replies to prior emails I've been completely ignored regarding my refund request. My subsequent emails and queries raised on 2nd of May and 5th of May has also been ignored.

Is this how Scan now treats it RMA customers? Really pathetic especially considering the excellent delivery services.

I'm planning on going through my credit card company to get the refund now but rather have Scan sort it out as they should be doing.

Very disappointing RMA service Scan!

Hi Chris,

I appreciate you looking in this.

My RMA number is: 264753

Query number is 1022569.

And I haven't tried calling as I've had prompt responses prior to this. Frankly, I'm probably going through my card company tomorrow or Friday if nothing gets sorted soon. I'd just like the refund now. Bought a new mobo already and the computer has been set up. So that 30+ days I had to wait for the RMA that didn't turn up was a complete waste of time.

Sorry Chris, I don't think I will be accepting the replacement. Did they miraculously received this board yesterday? How can they justify not responding to any of my queries chasing up on this board for the past two weeks? I have since purchased another board which is working absolutely fine.

If I had know that there was a replacement board coming almost two weeks ago, it would have been ok but not getting any response to my emails since chasing specifically for the status? That's utterly unacceptable.

I sincerely hope your RMA team understands this and will let me know shortly that they will issuing the refund.

We apologies for the delay, which happened with the Suppliers and here at SCAN internally, once the board was received here.

Due to the length of time you have had the board a replacement is all that can be offered.

Best Regards

Sorry Chris, I refuse to accept a replacement board.

I have already purchased another board due to Scan inactivity and complete disregard to my queries for two weeks. I see no reason why I should accept an item already delayed much longer than the 28 day period I expected where I received no update on it status for a long period of time there after.

Scan has now lost itself a customer and I will be taking the refund I will be receiving to other sellers like CCL and Overclockers.

Your usually very good services has been completely soiled by this incident in my eyes. I wish you the best in the future but I'm sorry to say I will not be dealing with Scan ever again.
