iPod Touch Screen Replacement
Does anyone on the forums have experience with iPod screen replacement, only I have bought a new screen and somehow in the process have managed to kill the lock and home buttons any thoughts? Thanks, Fuus

I'm guessing you've knocked the contacts out of alignment.
Refit it & check the contacts are clean

Give the contacts a clean with contact cleaner then check & double check all the connections in case you've pulled something out

Apple will fix this In there stores think its £10-20 is what my sister was quoted for a new iPhone 4 screen can't see it been a lot more than that now

I've done it before but it's a pain in the arse due to how the touch digitizer is glued down.

RE: rollo, i already purchases a touch screen and digitier on eBay, I'm not sure how willing the Apple store would be to accept an iPod back for repair when it is in peices
