Kamikaze-X has yet to learn the way of the Dremel
Z68X-UD4-B3- strange Ethernet niggle

Hello lovely people of Gigabyte.

I have the above motherboard, and recently changed from a pair of 85mbps powerline adapters to a 500mbps pair.

All is fine, and I get great speeds across them even through 2 extension leads.

However, the Ethernet port on the motherboard now glows orange.

with my 85mbps ones, it glowed green.

surely, green is good, right? from what I can see from googling, green is ethernet running at 1gigabit, and orange is either 10 or 100mbps.

can you clarify this for me?

UPDATE: yeah, so my Ethernet port has stopped working entirely, and I cant see it in device manager. please help!
