Mug and badge subscription offer

The current edition has a subscription offer which includes the Custom PC mug and case badge. However neither the subscription website or the call centre recognise the offer code.

What gives? I really wanted the mug.

Anyone had any joy with this? Still says invalid code for me.

Do Dennis / CPC still visit this forum or has it been abandoned since the split?

I think the CPC relationship to the site only really exists when Ben (arcticstoat) logs in. The painful lack of response to your original post sort of says it all really

Sorry, I've only just spotted this - I'm afraid subscriptions are run by a completely different company, so I can't tell you an answer straightaway, but I'll pass this on to CPC's publisher and try to find out. what's going on.

Thanks that would be great.

I am an existing longstanding subscriber so you could always just send me a mug to save me the re-subscription hassle.

If I had the mugs here then I'd send you one, but they're unfortunately all in our subs department. They've just told me that your mug should have been sent out as soon as the first payment was taken, so if you still haven't got your mug could you drop me a line (editor[at]custompc.co.uk) with your name, address and subs number, and I'll pass it onto our Subs department and see if I can get it sorted out

Any chance of getting the case badge without having to jump through the hoops of cancelling my subscription and re-subbing.

The website is now accepting the offer code so that is good for new subscribers.

Existing subscribers need to ring the subscription centre and they will cancel/renew your subscription so that you take advantage of the offer. Just did it myself and it is quite painless.

Oh well, I never did recieve my mug and badge and the offer has now switched to an OcUK USB stick.

So after an uninterrupted 8-year subscription run, I have cancelled my direct debit whilst I reassess my options. I may trial the digital edition, but it reallly needs to be reduced in cost for me to consider this for the long term.
