Wireless mPCIe for Asus Maximus V Formula

It's unclear to me if this board comes with a Wireless mPCIe card installed, or if i have to buy one seperatly, something that i can't find anywhere on Scan.

As with scans policies it is up to you to find out this information.

Best place is the manufacturers site.

I d/l the manual from asus and it has an mpci card in the accessories section, page xvii I believe.

Have a look yourself, as it's best YOU check as I may have got it wrong....

Not sure what is meant by this comment?

Anyways this information is on the SCAN website under technical specifications for the product:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-...splayport-hdmi

However as Scorpuk has advised for the most accurate, detailed and up to date information we would always suggest checking the manufactures website prior to your purchase:

On the ASUS product page for this item:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...specifications

You will find under "Accessories" amongst other things:

1 x mPCIe Combo card(s) with dual band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n module + Bluetooth v4.0/3.0+HS module

*3-2: The mini-PCIe slot is pre-installed with an Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Thank you kindly good sir.
I believe my initial confusion came from looking at the GENE M-ATX which has the mPCIe slot but doesn't come with the wireless card as standard. Wasn't sure if the same was for the formula. Thankfully it isn't.

Not a problem

I have the GENE V and it comes with the combo adaptor but does not come supplied with the wifi module/bluetooth card, you have to source your own
