2.0 speakers?
Well, I've moved into the study after having my PC at the bottom of my bed and having to use some iPod speakers (JBL Radial, which is pretty awesome tbh). Anyway, now I'm at a decent desk, it's time to get some speakers either side of my monitor.
Games I play: BF3, MineCraft, Anno 2070, Shift 2 Music: Rock(ish), as little chart as possible, some WUB WUB WUB. Basically I don't want some poor weedy things. Haven't got a sound card either, my budget is about £50

I cant directly comment as unfortunatly I am currently limited to using headphones only!
But i keep my eyes on speaker thread as when circumstances permitt I will get some!Anyway, this thread from a few days ago may be of use; http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=234647 The OP originally wanted 5.1 but there are some suggestions for 2.x speakers. It looked as though Microlab Solo6C were a popular recommendation (although the budget was £70) Hope this might help

They're a little out of my price range, thanks though. They're also quite a lot bigger than I wanted.

Creative T20s are within your budget and well worth it. Had them for a year or so now and they are very good.

Most of the Microlab 2.0 lineup is good for a budget.

Mate get the T20s, you'll love them. You might even find a decent pair of T40s on the bay for not much over £50. They look good, will fit on your desk and have excellent headphone amp properties
![]() Sound is comparable to a good mid-range mini hi-fi, enough to fill even a large room. Plus you can always add a sub later if yoh really need to shake the floor.

Have you got any kind of hi-fi or stereo that you can plug an aux signal into?

I'm swinging towards the T20's atm, trying to find the evidence the T40's are worth the extra £30 atm.
Deders, I don't have the room to have even a sub really (don't want one either), so Hi-Fi is out. Thanks though.

No room for something maybe a little smaller than this?

Not really, want to keep the clutter to minimum and the main tower part of that just seems like it would be a waste to me.
