Well when you consider the cost per cpu then this isnt a lot to protect 4 of them.

Been in Spain, near Cadiz, now for past 3 weeks, 2 to go and then home for 2 and then back. Its starting to cool down too. Only 20C this morning at 06:30.

The radiator will either be on top or beside the case, with the case either standing up right or on its side.

The hoses will go through the holes left by the removal of the rear exhausts.

Have had the majority of the items delievered, but wont get the blocks until December when I return from work.

Until then here is whats been delivered:

*image lost*

Standing next to my server the radiator is the same height with its feet on.

This is how my server looks at the moment:

*image lost*

1 x 80mm fan on each H/S
3 x 92mm fans on left side on low RPM controlled by Bitfenix Recon.
3 x 92mm fans stacked at the front.
1 x Temperature probe on top of server. (This will be part of the loop eventually)

With the new radiator standing beside it.

Its been a while, but got the final parts yesterday and decided to have a go. :-)

Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

First two blocks installed:

All four water blocks installed:

Linked together:

Pump and resevior placing, still to be connected:

There were two posts on the side of the case, no doubt used for something else, that the resevoir clamps could be pushed on to. For final installation I'll add some bluetac.

Alternative view with radiator in background:

The radiator was a bit of a pain with the mesh cover as there is not enough room for 9 cables coming out, so its not fully screwed down on one side.

I have also found a home for my BitFenix Recon in an IcyBox IB-550StU3S 5.25" USB External Optical Bay:

Will complete tomorrow and do a leak test. Bought a Phobya external PSU 230V to 4Pin Molex 90W for leak testing so I dont need to power up the computer.

Will link as follows: Resevoir -> Pump -> CPU's -> Radiator -> Temparature Probe -> Bleed -> Back to resevoir.

Almost completed and ready for leak testing.

Connected up the fans to the BitFenix Recon and running at 1000rpm on 3 channels, 3 fans per channel, it is whisper quiet.

Loop now complete and ready for testing:

First fill and tissues at the ready:

First leak:

Originally this came with the ends blanked off, so I decided to switch around. For some reason the screw thread on the plugs at the top went in too far and obstructed the barbed fitting from screwing all the way home. Once I found out it was that I fitted the barbed fitting first and switched the plug to one where the o-ring didnt look flattened. Yay for spares!

Gladly this was the only leak on the system, well 1 hour plus so far.

I've plugged the recon unit in now too, to get temperature and pump speed readings:

Pump setting 1:

Pump setting 3:

Pump setting 5:

Thinking on powering up the motherboard and jumping into the bios to see what temperatures I get on the cpu's.

Then either I look to fitting everythign back in and leaving it for a week, or I empty the loop and fill with my Mayhem Pastel Red.

Running leak free for 2 hours plus so decided to boot up server into bios.

Bios temp screen:

Unfortunately it doesnt say a specific temp. I guess low is good.

The recon info on loop temp and pump rpm:

Looks good idle.

I've now also placed the temperature probes on the metal part of the water block and getting 28 degC. Loop temp has risen to 26 degC.

Will leave it like this for another couple of hours before putting it all back and booting up for a stress test.

Quite impressed with the temperatures.
