As that case takes m-ATX (and mini-ITX) and you already have an ASUS board I'd go for the Maximus V Gene here - good reviews and would fit the bill (and the case
Edit: Not to do with the mobo but you're going to struggle with that Kuhler 920 in that case as there aren't any 120mm fan mountings...

Well that is regarded as one of the best (read: most expensive) LGA1155 boards but there are obviously cheaper, albeit not quite as good, options. What's your budget?
If you don't need the features of Z77 then the Maximus IV Gene-Z is £120 (Z68 chipset) http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-...hdmi-micro-atx Or if you don't want to overclock then the H77 chipset would save you a few pounds (well more than a few actually - more like half: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigab...hdmi-micro-atx

GeorgeK
I have not really got a budget in mind but I know I do not want to spend £150 on a mobo. Overclocking is not something that particularly interests me either. I am not sure what is meant by the features of Z77 but I am sure I do not need them. Quite like the look at your H77 suggestion. Will keep that in mind. Quote:

Hopefully someone will chime in with experience of a decent m-atx board that fits the bill - I skipped Sandy Bridge and will probably end up skipping Ivy Bridge too. Have a browse of the motherboards here for other ideas
http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-.../1015/993/1013 You can go as low as £40 up to £150 (apologies for instantly suggesting the most expensive board!!!)

Even most of the cheapest Z77 boards can overclock a 3570K to 4.5GHz. Just look for one that has VRM heatsinks, and do a quick Google search to make sure it doesn't have any silly limitations (I've seen MSI boards with no voltage settings in the BIOS for example). The warranty will tell you about the overall build quality.

After doing a bit of research I have changed my mind over the case, cable management issues, and am now looking at this. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...pping&pup_c=gs
So any other thoughts on a fairly decent mobo. Also will my Kuhler fit this case or not?

The Maximus V Gene was the first mobo suggested and rejected as being to expensive. As for the P8Z77 that is worth looking into.Thanks.
