Just stalking through ebay at the moment and I've found two G80-3000's up on ebay, both ISO and for about £25 less than retail...

First gives very little information, you'll have to contact for more, but they'll be laser caps.

Second is actually buy it now - and gives the full article number so we know it's laser caps again, and with blue switches.

DTs wiki is awesomely handy!

Oh, and there's some fairly worn double shots up too. Though is it just me or do the bottom row look like beige on black rather that white on black?

Seams like a decent mechanical keyboard, and the BT connectivity interests me. It will be "plugged" to a slim ITX rig, and I'll be using a wifi/BT mPCIe card (centrino) ... I became quite the "wrie phobiac" with time

They certainly look like it - is it possible that they're just filthy? Would seem odd that those were more dirty than the rest though...

It says the bottom row aren't double shots - so they are from a different set. and they look nasty that bottom row!

I know I don't post in here much any more, what with this essentially being an IRC channel for keycap collectors these days

But just thought I'd drop in to make some comments about the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid that I have just acquired. I have basically swapped the Pro edition for the Rapid, both using red switches.

My only comments on comparing the two are that the Rapid is discernibly smaller, with a much lower front lip, and that the bottoming out sound is quieter. Build quality differences appear to be negligible, but then I've never been one to use my keyboard as a sledgehammer

Now I just need to get my head around ANSI and no numpad

EDIT: Also, no CM Storm branding cheesecake:
