Bagged myself KotOR II. Also had a quick glance at what is on offer. Is it just me or are many, if not most, games more expensive this time around? Ah well. Hopefully there won't be too many games tempting me right now. Am a bit strapped for cash with the new components I've had to buy.

Honestly, the steam sale is kind of disappointing...

Skyrim reduced to 23.44? amazon £17.96.
Dishonored reduced to 23.44? amazon £19.99.
Borderlands 2 for 22.49? amazon £19.99.

CS:Go 50% off? good joke, that game was weekend deal like a week ago.

Terraria at a discount? who wants that garbage any more after the dev decided to shove a broken bottle up the a** of pc gaming?

Limbo, Audiosurf and World of Goo at a discount? oh come on, thats about as pointless as discounting Half life, everyone has them.

Skyrim has been £19.99 for the last week so they've put the price up.

Steam prices are always poor compared to retail, especially for the big titles. You know it's really bad when the sale prices are still poor value.

Indie games are the only thing worth buying on Steam nowadays.

Actually I don't think the comparisons to amazon are fair. Skyrim as well as Borderlands are only reduced by 33% right now, and will probably be reduced by at least 50% for 24 hours in the next days.

And as for dishonoured, Amazon had it for £10 for a day last week picked up a copy for a friend and myself. Thought they would've dishonoured it and should've bought more!

Honestly, this announcement doesn't make the PC version less of a functional product than it was before, it has already had its content doubled since it first came out. Plus we don't even know what the console content will be, it might just be another tier of tedious grinding for gear. Or some xbox themed hats.

I tend to champion lame ducks when it comes to games, but even I have restrained myself from buying Homefront.

It's now £7.49 and I don't think it's ever gone lower than that.

So ...

... is it really that bad a game?

I'm currently downloading The Witcher 2, which I'm hoping will be awesome.

Homefront has been cheaper, it isn't a bad game, just not as good as say The Witcher 2!
