Show your work, ideas, sketches etc
Hi
Cant find any thread about this, so hope that I dont missed it ... The idea is a thread where you can show all the small things you are doing right now or have done previous ... It could be a sketch that you have never finish or maybe just a small test to cut acrylic. Things that you like to share, but dont want to make a hole thread about - If you have done a nice sketch but dont want to make it, maybe a other user could ask and build it to himself ... What do you think about this thread ? (And hope you all understand my english) ---------------------------------------------- To start it (Example)..... This was some acrylic engraving I made YEARS ago on a old laser engraver ...

Not really a sketch, this is my first mod ever I guess. It is a itx PC in a MB Quart chassis. The other box is the external power supply. It is mounted in my truck, I have been using it for over a year now.

Three of the main image I am working on.
I am debating right now on which one of this two I should do   Of course I will also add this.  I will be working on this two on scrap piece of plexi glass before etching them. |

Nice to see people sharing
This is how it looks when testing in the beginning, boxes   And my first time trying to do some watercooling on a Mill, damm thats MANY years ago ...  This was a render that I found way back, and was working on some skeetches to a case from the idea:  Like this ...  And a smaller version, never finished it but did some testing on the acrylic top that worked out pretty well (No pictures sadly) ...

I did some test etching for my nephew.
His a big time spider man fan and one of his two favorite villains was etched on scrap plexi glass  I think I am a bit rusty. See some mistake but I guess I still have the artistic touch |

I designed a couple of water cooling loops while bored in work at my last job.
Lancool K62  Antec P182/3 Loop  Will be doing something like this with my current rig, but with an extra 240 rad in the roof.

Another idea I was working on some years ago to a friend ... Acrylic cover ...  Front/Back made from Alu with 120/140mm fans ...  Found this on the old hard drive to, was a acrylic photoframe idea years back ...

Did some testing on the lights to a Ferrari F355 ... Its was a forum user that asked my on a Car forum I was active on a long time ago ...
He wanted the light in the front bumper to be clear ...  Got a broken one and made a "template" ....  Milling ...    Some rounded edges and hole to mount it ...  This was just a prototype, but he sold the car pretty fast and never heard from him again ... Did polish it clear, but cant find the pictures (Also did some tesing a bending it) |

Well mines no ferrari. lol But it is a work in progress for a mod to be done this year and will be on this forum when i start it.
Early stages Getting there This is at 75% Project name P.R.E.D I still have some work to do on symmetry of the top dome and painting the mask the proper colour. Then there will be the case, which i havent even brought to start modding... hence no project log yet. But at least I have plenty of pics of the mask and the making to start off the project whilst im working on the case. |

A "picture" frame that I made from 180mm acrylic ...   And from another thread, the first test on a GPU watercoling top ...

Did polish it a bit to finish it off
... But the surface was very nice already before the polish, so was pretty easy and fast to get the final finish ...  Dont have any pictures straight out of the Lathe, did the polish before it got out
