Yeah that was actually the main appeal for me but the keys look like they are lasered.

As for 2KR I must say I've never experienced it... the G80-3000 is supposed to have the same, but this keyboard definitely doesn't. I used to play FPS frantically using WASD, Shift, Control, Caps Lock, and Q, E, R T, F, G, C, V all as weapon binds, regularly needing four simultaneous key presses, and I never had any trouble.

my cherry doubleshots came at the weekend. need a few more caps to finish off the board so no pics yet. F and J scoops are good! the set I got are pretty good, fairly shiny numpad, and a very shiny f4 (i guess these keys used to abuse some as400 or similar system), all other keys are in good nick, most still have a bit of texture on them.

I want more thick caps in my life. I have ordered another set of thick imsto caps, so I will have 3 sets of thick pbt caps and a full set of cherrys, which is nice, but means I need another keyboard.

I also might have bought a Chinese knock off board that might be arriving sometime this week. and I might have kept it secret to stave off abuse haha.

I cannot describe how awesome it feels typing on this board with brand new keys. It's simply amazing.

Looking at the Black Widow I now see the "funky" layout....bleurgh. And to think I came REALLY close to buying one not so long ago...

The BlackWidow is not dreadful, you can just do better for the same money. The biggest disappointment for me wasn't the cheap feel, or the inference that blue switches are best for gaming, or the horrible font. It was the fact that after only a few months use the lettering had begun to wear off the WASD cluster.

On a £25 board that would be unacceptable. For a board costing three times that it is outrageous, and I'm extremely glad I sold it on when I did, because another few months and they'd have been getting on for blank keycaps!

On another, unrelated note the programmable backlighting on this Ducky is just such an awesome feature for me. Such a nice keyboard, almost makes me want to learn to touch type.

I haz caps, and a chocolate coin!

I've had a bit of a rummage through them, and I have probably 100+ POS caps, a few novelty caps, a shed load of white on black (various profiles) and maybe enough for a couple of sets of RGB modifiers. Can't be sure until I get home though.

There are some ALPS caps (not many though) and a few one offs of other types, unknown to me.

If you have a short left green shift, black on green, 1.25x, both me and GMC need one! Though he might have sourced one, i think it be from the states, so if you have one or two, we would be your collective best mates Think he also needs a 1.5x blue alt, black on blue.

I've cleared them all off my desk so I'll have a look when I get home, but I don't think the shift keys were that short.

I got all these caps (and more) from a Grab Bag group buy. Total cost to me was about £25 for 850 caps, and I'm probably going to sell off some of the more desirable caps above. Other members here may have better stuff than me - I expected (read: hoped for) more than two awesome faces!
