Have to agree about the X logo, that with the res looks wicked. Looks perfect in the front of the case.

Apologies for the thread revival but its time to get ready for Multiplay i46 so thought it was time to say a BIG thanks to Intel and to show my appreciation i thought i'd make them a nice illuminated logo

I love this EVGA motherboard because have the PCIe slots parallel to the RAM slots, I hope one day all the enthusiast motherboard will be made in this nice and tidy fashion way

Well the newly installed EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified Power Supply finishes this mod off perfectly and i’ve got to say, i think this is as close to perfection i will ever get.
Yes there were a couple of issues with the original BIOS on the SR-X board which were quickly ironed out but since then i’ve never looked back and its been rock solid ever since. Simply put, there is absolutely nothing i would change with this system which is probably a first for me.........oh wait, yeah i’d add another couple of 680’s for good measure or swap them out for a couple of 690’s but apart from that, this is as good as it gets for me. Final Spec and a few pictures with the new PSU... Sorry for dragging up an old build but its upgrade time!
I got the new Kingston HyperX Beast for this rig today so will be getting that fitted as soon as i get a minute. They sent me 3 x 32GB kits so will have a total of 96GB to play with which should be plenty and it looks rather nice too ![]() ![]() ![]()
